Loving Surface – Nov 2010.
It was so great working on this cover shoot for the current issue of Surface Magazine. This story is all about jewelry and was shot by Yu Tsai – he’s a genius photographer and had me cracking up the entire day!
I went for a clean, beautiful, monochromatic look. Her features are softly defined and skin has a satin finish to it. This makeup is very “me.” :-) I think a “Get the Face” will be coming soon for this look in which I used Dior Cosmetics to create. Hope you all like it and if you pass by a newsstand, check out the issue.

K. Michelle on BET’s 106 and Park “I Just Can’t Do This”
Some of you may remember the other day when my flight from LA to NYC was delayed. I was praying for a miracle to happen so that I would make it in time to do K. Michelle’s makeup for her live performance on 106th and Park. I do believe in miracles because I got there with a few minutes until show time and I started painting for my life! Hope you all like the current September issue of Surface Magazine. I did the makeup for the cover and cover story inside 
. I used MAC cosmetics to create the cover look. It was my first time working with photographer Henrique Gendre and he was amazing. New Work – K.Michelle’s Fallin’ Music Video
K.Michelle is another AMAZING and crazy talented singer that I recently worked with! Check out her new music video “Fallin” – another Armen directed piece! K.Michelle was so much fun to work with and she had me cracking up all day -she’s hysterical! I don’t need to talk about the voice as you will witness that once you watch and listen to her video below. This song is being played all over and is a hit for sure.
For the makeup in “Fallin,” I gave K.Michelle a soft, smokey eye using some metallics around the lash lines. I finished her look off with peach on the cheeks and golden, nude lips. I hope you like the makeup and the video. Xo Mario

Get the Face! Kim K at Leather & Laces in Miami – A People StyleWatch exclusive
It’s finally out! This look that I gave Kim at the Leather & Laces event in Miami during Superbowl weekend has been the most requested “Get the Face.” People Style Watch had the exclusive on it and now you do too! I loved the entire look on Kim. Monica Rose styled her beautifully in a all nude look and I was very inspired by the color and textures.
