This is a fashion editorial I worked on for Virgine Magazine , entitled “American Icons.”  The story features several models – each one was transformed to recreate the iconic images of the past, like the two examples here that I worked on.   This feature was shot over several weeks and the photos are brilliant.  Everyone from The Beatles to Grace Jones and of course Marilyn Monroe and Brigette Bardot both pictured here with my makeup  I love doing transformational makeup so this shoot was perfect!  One of my favorite shots that I worked on is of Marilyn.  Xo Mario
