Sky’s The Limit!
I was going through images in my laptop and saw this shot of superstar DJ/model Sky Nellor. This was a advertising shoot I worked on for the Ricardo Rojas Salon in NYC, featured in Vogue. Ricardo and I have worked with Sky (his muse) many times over the years and together, they’re so much fun to be around. Check out that bed head – I love it! A natural look for everyday, LOL. Xo Mario
Getting Violent w/ Khloe’s Lips!

A couple of weeks ago I did Khloe’s makeup and we used these temporary tattoos called Violent Lips. They come in various colors and fun prints including the Silver Glitteratti pair that I applied on Khloe.
How beautiful does she look?? Sexy in Silver, lol. I love this pic! Violent Lips come in so many awesome colors and patterns. Kendall and Kylie gave me a couple of cool styles that I plan on using soon on a fashion/ beauty editorial. Xo Mario
Christian Serratos at the premier of ‘Breaking Dawn-Part 1′
I recently worked with the sweet and beautiful Christian Serratos for the LA premier of “Breaking Dawn.” For those of you that have not seen any of the Twilight movies, Christian plays the role of Angela, who is best friends with Bella (Kristen Stewart). I think Christian was best dressed at the premier, without a doubt! She wore a stunning fuchsia Alexander McQueen gown and she rocked it!

For makeup, I gave her subtle, smokey cat eyes and radiant, bronzed skin. On Christians lips, I used a very soft matte pink shade. What do you think of the look? Stay tuned for a “Get The Face!” Xo Mario
“How Many Times” Music Video w/ K. Michelle.
Has anyone seen K. Michelle’s music video for “How Many Times?” It’s a really great song and especially if you’re into real R&B. I did her makeup on the “How Many Times” video (see below). Towards the end of the shoot, I had to mimic broken glass on her shoulder somehow so I used hundreds of swarovski cyrstals in different shapes and sizes. I was so pressed for time but thankfully the manicurist and my assistant Sally helped me to glue all the pieces! You can take a look here. Xo Mario
GET THE FACE! kim kardashians wedding makeup *the complete list*
***EXCLUSIVE*** Here it is, finally! The COMPLETE list of products I used on Kim Kardashian to create her wedding look. Read below to learn how you can Get the Face!
She looked like a beautiful Angel at the altar
Giving Princess Kimmy some finishing touches
Skin -
To prep Kims skin, I used The Moisturizing Lotion by La Mer all over the face and neck.
I applied Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Hydrating Makeup by Dior to even out the skin tone.
To cover and highlight under the eyes, I used By Terry’s Touche Veloutee concealer.
I set her makeup using Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre Natural Finish Loose Powder.
Eyes -
I brushed Kim’s brows then filled them in using L’Oreal Paris Brow Stylist Custom Brow Shaping Pencil in Light Brown.
To define and play up Kim’e eyes, I used Lancôme 5 Pan Eyeshadow Palette in Golden Frenzy. I swept the light golden shade all over the lids and I applied the darker shade along her crease with a small liner brush. I used the lightest shadow on the brow bone to highlight.
Along the lower lash line, I swept a touch of the golden/bronze shades, focusing more towards the outer corners.
I lined her eyes (top lid only) using Cover Girl Line Exact Liquid Liner in Very Black. Start out with a thin line at the inner corner and gradually thicken the line as you go towards the outer corners. Wing the liner up and out.
To give her lashes (both top and bottom) more length and volume, I applied two coats of Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Lashes mascara in So Black!
Cheeks -
On the apples of cheeks, I applied Lancôme Blush Subtil in Rose Romantique. (A sheer peachy tone) Smile and sweep right on the apple blending out and up.
To warm up Kims skin and contour her cheeks, I used Guerlain Teracotta bronzing powder. I brushed a bit all along the hairline and jawline. I also applied some along the hollows of her cheeks to contour.
I gave Kim radiant, glowing skin with Giella’s Eye M Glam highlighter. I applied some along her cheek bones to give a dewey effect, on the bridge of her nose, cupids bow (right above the center of upper lip) and I also swept it along her decolletage, shoulders and arms. Lastly, I applied it to the inner corners of her eyes using a small liner brush to brighten and open the eyes.
Lips-
I defined her lips using YSL Dessin Des Levres lipliner in Nude Beige followed by Lancôme’s L’Absolu Nu lipstick in Coral Sand. (A sheer peachy lipstick.)
I finished off her lips by adding a touch of shine with Lancôme La Laque Fever lipgloss in Ravishing Coral. (Very pretty color for any skin tone)
To keep Kim looking fresh from the day and into the evening, I used TATCHA Aburatorigami Japanese Blotting Papers. (They’re all natural and powder free.)
Hope you all like it! Give it a try and if you do, please send me the pics
